The Theo Gibbs Memorial Baseball Tournament is a baseball tournament played annually each September in the city of Regina to honour the memory of Theo Gibbs.

Theo was a kind hearted kid, who would do anything for his friends and family. He loved being an athlete. Theo was serious, yet lighthearted in his role as a leader and a role model to younger athletes. In addition to training and playing on his own teams, Theo generously volunteered his time coaching, never missing an opportunity to build someone up. Theo loved the game of baseball with every inch of his being. He loved the personal challenges the game doles out, both physical and mental. He loved the camaraderie, the atmosphere of the ballpark and the energy it brought to his life. Theo used baseball as a guidepost for how to be as a person; gritty, fun, relaxed and energetic. 

The Theo Gibbs Memorial Tournament embodies his love of the game, his infectious spirit, and the joy he brought to the field. Whether you're a player, a fan, or a friend, we invite you to come to Regina ready for a weekend of fun, excitement & competition certain to forge new memories while celebrating our memories of Theo. All proceeds raised over the weekend go to directly support the Theo Gibbs Memorial Tournament Foundation, a registered non-profit created to "give back" to the baseball community through a variety or grants and scholarships.
